Wayan was our driver and guide for the day and honestly made the entire trip. He knew exactly when to arrive at Tegalalang rice terraces before the tourist bus rush, and knew all the best angles for photos. Very respectful, funny, and never rushed us anywhere.

I've had bad experiences in other countries with drivers dragging you to tourist trap souvenir shops, but this tour was 100% focused on what we wanted to see. Tirta Empul was spiritually moving, and the monkey forest was hilarious. Great car with icy AC too.

We asked our driver if we could skip the big westernized restaurant and try proper Balinese food instead. He took us to a small warung near Ubud with the most incredible crispy roast duck. Authentic, delicious, and cheap. Can't recommend this private tour enough!
