The Ayung River gorge is breathtaking. Towering jungle cliffs, hanging vines, hidden waterfalls, and hand-carved stone reliefs along the riverbanks. The rapids are splashy and thrilling without ever feeling dangerous.

Did this with our kids (ages 10 and 13). They loved swimming in the calm river pools and jumping under the waterfall during the mid-way rest stop. There are quite a few stairs down to the river, but totally worth it.
